This feature is available for channel owners. To allow channel members to post an announcement, channel owners must configure the permission in the channel settings.

Note: This feature is only available in the channel conversation and not in individual chat.

Extra Tips!

If you don’t wish to cloud your channel conversations with announcements, you could make a new sub-channel and name it as “Announcements”. This sub-channel will be a segregated collection of all announcements made.
